ABOUT ME
James Riedel is originally from Upstate New York and has lived in North Carolina since 1998. Mr. Riedel currently lives in Youngsville, a small town just outside of Wake Forest with his wife Jodi and son William. Mr. Riedel teaches Drafting, Engineering and Architecture at Heritage high school located in Wake Forest. Prior to working at Heritage high school Mr. Riedel worked at Wakefield high school in North Raleigh. Along with his teaching duties Mr. Riedel also was the head Varsity Lacrosse coach at both Wakefield high school and Heritage high school. Mr. Riedel has an Associate degree in Civil Engineering from Hudson Valley Community College, Bachelor degree in Technology Education from North Carolina State University and a Master’s degree in Executive Administration from Gardner Webb University. In 2015 Mr. Riedel became a Nationally Board Certified Teacher in the State of North Carolina. Mr. Riedel has been the President of the Carolina Youth Lacrosse Club since 2013 and the Director of lacrosse Operation for the Town of Zebulon just east of Wake Forest since 2010.
Mr. Riedel is a Hogkins Lymphoma Cancer Survivor and has been in remission since February 2012. Since his remission Mr. Riedel has been active in raising money for cancer research through lacrosse tournaments, 5K races and Fundraisers for the Light the Night (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society).
