The there are 10 available upper cabinets for food, cup and plate storage.
AutoCAD Snap and Grid
Snap and Grid 2017
In this project I created the alphabet and numbers using the line command. To assist me with drawing accuracy, I used the Grid and Snap functions to create straight lines at exact distances. In this project I also learned how to change the properties of an object by using the properties tool palette.
After we created the numbers and letters, I copied letters from the alphabet I created then moved them into a position that spelled out my name. I also repeated that chain of events to spell out my birth date.
Galaga Project 2017
Another Snap and Grid project I completed in my drafting I class was a screen shot of the 80's Atari game Galaga. The figures were created by using the line tool to create 1 x 1 unit boxes and then fill in the boxes with a solid Hatch pattern. After I created each ship and alien invader I copied each figure and put it in place by using the snap function. To make sure my drawing was accurate I used the Grid and Snap functions to place each figure properly. This project has assisted me in learning how to use the AutoCAD system commands and functions.
Sky Scraper Sketch Up Project

Southern Style Beach House
Southern Style Beach House Fall 2017
This project reflects the southern coast style beach house design. When I began this project I used the internet to research different types of southern beach houses. I found many beach houses that had different characteristics but had a similar design style. I used those images to help aid in the creation of the beach house above. The beach house I designed includes pillars that elevate the house above the ground so that it aids in preventing flooding during a hurricane or heavy rain. On the front of the house I have designed two areas to park multiple cars and a storage area for beach chairs, umbrellas, surfboards, ect. Leading up to the front door I have designed a staircase that has two access points. The staircase leads you up to the front porch and French designed front doors. Above the front door is the Master bedroom balcony. On the back of the house I have designed a deck for the main floor and the top floor. The deck also includes a walkway that leads to the beach. I feel that the beach house I have designed has the characteristics of a traditional Southern style beach house.
