Designing Wrenches and Pliers
Students in this project will be creating in Inventor a Flat head and Phillips head screw driver, straight claw hammer, adjustable wrench, c-clamp and pliers. Students will create part files, assembly files and drawing files. Students will learn how to research dimensions and design components of the wrenches or pliers. At the end of the project students will know how to design accurately all tools.
Student will also learn how these tools are made. Processes that aid in the creation of the tool will be covered and watched through internet videos.
