Isometric Pictorial Drawing
What is an Isometric Drawing?
- An Isometric drawing is way of presenting designs/drawings in three dimensions. In order for a design to appear three dimensional, a 30 degree angle is applied to its sides. The cube to the right, has been drawn in isometric projection. Below the cube you will see a drawing example of a figure drawn as a Isometric Pictorial.

Isometric Notes

-Isometric Width and Depth Lines are drawn 30 Degrees off the Horizon.

- Isometric Height Lines are drawn vertically.

- Isometric Axis are 120 degrees apart from each other.

- Non Isometric lines are not parallel to Isometric axes. In the figure to the left, the red line represents a non-isometric line.
